Our biggest assistant in Antalya Marina: Shila

Setur Marinas Antalya's senior sailor Shila is a favorite of both animal lovers and bosses.

It was in 2016 that Shila was introduced to the sometimes serene blue of the sea, sometimes the crashing waves, and ran against the wind, tossing her long golden feathers. He is an apprentice! He learned how to ride a boat, to patrol at night, to greet our guests with a smiling face, all from his sailor brothers. If only he could talk, he would answer the radio announcements. "I'm listening, over!"

Considering that it has been 8 years since her arrival at Antalya Marina, we can say that Shila is now a senior sailor.

Shila is organized. Every morning, she wakes up with the first rays of the sun and waits for her teammates to come on duty. She is in love with her "profession" but she has also managed to become a mother 3 times with the motto "I can have children and a career".

She is very fond of food, we can jokingly say she needs nine meals a day. Our girl loves pastry, she never starts the day without a bagel. She loves traveling by car, she jumps on the boat and golf cart before everyone else and sits at the front.

Despite the typical traits of the golden retriever breed, our beloved companion prefers to spend much of the day in slumber rather than engaging in hunting activities. The leisurely and assured movements observed during the day transform into exuberant displays of excitement, with joyful leaps and bounds upon sighting someone. Upon noticing someone approaching the sailor hut, she promptly greets them at the door, expressing her delight. Ensuring she receives her share of affectionate pets, she then retreats to her corner and resumes her peaceful slumber.

Shila, who lives a happy life in her own rose colored world, sometimes seeks adventure. We haven't forgotten that one day she attempted to escape from the marina with another pet. We reported her missing on our social media accounts and waited for her for days. Even though she is now a loyal elderly friend, no one can be sure what she will do tomorrow.

In short, Shila is the dream of bosses looking for an employee who is communicative, constructive, capable of working overtime and teamwork. She is our friend at heart.
