Heybeliada was the host of the International Arena Aquamasters Swimming Championships this year. Taking place between September 2-3, the swimming championship welcomed many competitors with the contributions of Setur Marinas.

The 100th anniversary of the Republic inspired the International Arena Aquamasters Open Water Swimming Championships, as well as many other events this year. Having hosted the Naval High School and the Naval Academy for many years, Heybeliada hosted swimmers stronger than one another this time.

 

 

Moving from place to place to raise awareness about the sport of swimming, to appeal to individuals of all ages and to instill the nature of swimming and the love of swimming in everyone, Aquamasters managed to create a different experience for swimmers every time.

 

 

Onur Kunduz, the manager of Setur Marinas Kalamış & Fenerbahçe Marina, one of the main supporters of the championship this year, has followed the Aquamasters adventure from the very beginning. Stating that their paths intersected with Aquamasters 8 years ago at Netsel Marmaris Marina, Kunduz cannot hide his excitement as he summarizes the philosophy of this special event: "We see the vision and mission of Aquamasters as encouraging people of all ages, at all levels, to enjoy the sea and swimming without any categorization." You can see the pride of realizing this vision for the 19th time in a special location like Heybeliada in the eyes of everyone who contributed.

 

 

Aquamasters action will continue in Bodrum on November 5th. We invite you to Bodrum to be a part of this action and compete in the Setur Marinas Open Water Swimming Championships in a delightful atmosphere.
