Since the first moment of the earthquake with Kahramanmaraş as epicenter, we, as Koç Holding and Setur Marinas, have been standing by our earthquake-stricken citizens with all our strength and means in the spirit of mobilization.

 

We, as Koç Holding, have been on duty in the disaster zone since the first day of the earthquakes that deeply affected our country. We support our people in every need, from search and rescue to first aid, from shelter and heating to health, from food support to baby products.

 

The first thing we did on the morning of 6 February was to bring our entire team together to turn our marinas into aid collection centers. We prepared and announced a list of priority needs. All in-kind aids collected at our marinas during this period were delivered to the earthquake zone through AFAD units.

 

All of our employees participated in the aid mobilization initiated by Koç Holding. 531 Koç employees, all trained and equipped, who took part in search and rescue operations in coordination with AFAD teams, rescued 117 citizens from the rubble.

 

We started serving hot meals in the living area of Hatay Kırıkhan Stadium in cooperation with Zer, a Koç Holding company.

 

 

We distributed portable toilets and shower units, which were among the most needed materials for earthquake victims, to the earthquake zone.

 

We contacted all boat owners with a registered address in the earthquake zone to ensure their safety.

 

We contacted the officials of our suppliers and business partners and took precautions against their possible losses.

 

We donated 1.6 million liras to the earthquake zone with both corporate and individual contributions from our employees, as well as voluntary donations from our guests.

 

We have also taken action to review the earthquake resistance status of all our marinas.

 

Going forward, we will continue the aid mobilization initiated by Koç Holding and expand it with the support of our employees. Koç Holding Companies will continue to make additional donations equal to the amount of donations our employees will make to Vehbi Koç Foundation. (*) Thus, our support for children in the earthquake zone will increase exponentially.

Consider this as a sailor's promise! We will continue to do whatever we can to heal the wounds of our country.

 

(*) The donation campaign is exclusive to Koç Holding employees. The donations collected will be delivered to those in need in line with the purposes specified in the official deed of Vehbi Koç Foundation.
