Starting to support the cinema with the Ayvalık Film Festival last year Setur Marinas opened Kaş Marina to cinemagoers this year.
Kaş International Short Film Festival, which was organized for the first time this year, was held on June 2-5 under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Cinema and Kaş Municipality. One of the venues of the festival was Setur Kaş Marina.

In addition to many panels, interviews and workshops, awards were given in the branches of national, international, national student films and international underwater films. While 550 films from 60 countries applied to the festival, 32 films made it to the finals. While the guests get lost in the green space of Kaş marina, in the deep blue universe of underwater films, the underwater films jury, consisting of Billy Cloud, Elif Karagöz Bağcılar and Dr. Mert Gökalp, evaluated the films Çöplükten Deniz Duldum, Incipience, The Origin, The Reef, Tiger (Shark) King and Under the Surface which advanced to final. While the Best Film Award is granted to Yaroslav Bulavin's Incipience, Clayton Conn's Tiger (Shark) King also won the Jury's Special Award.
As the Kaş International Short Film Festival is left behind, open-air movie theater lovers are getting ready to meet at the Ayvalık Film Festival, this time with the sponsorship of Setur Marinas, on September 16-21.
