To all sea lovers, just like Fisherman of Halicarnassus Cevat Şakir said, "A big hello!"

Dear sea friends,

Three years have passed since I started my sea voyage from Istanbul. Long sea voyages are a struggle against the changing forces of nature in the transcontinental oceans. Here the absolute power is nature, and we have to be in harmony with it as much as our strength, without resisting it. The most mischievous of these forces of nature is definitely the wind.

Along the way from Marmara, across the Pacific Ocean, to Polynesia, countries, islands I've seen, oceans, seas, waves are on one side, the wind is on the other side!  No one has the anger of this natural phenomenon with never ending surprises and jokes. In my opinion, the wind is the soul of the world, and understanding it, holding on to it and crossing the ocean is the greatest blessing bestowed upon man. I want you to know this. I hope, I'll explain why in another post.

Greetings from the anchorage of Maupiti Island.
