Virazon II: Hope of a Generation, Dream of a Generation

Lycia - Kaş Underwater Art Park, where replicas of historical artifacts belonging to the Lycian civilization, lost or smuggled from the region, will be exhibited under the sea, has been completed.

If you are ready, hold your breath and join us for a unique deep water journey. Let's dive into the Lycia - Kaş Underwater Art Park together. Let's see the columns in Patara Colonnaded Street, Poseidon and his Horses, the work of Legend of Chimera and Bellerophontes, and the Erbinna Monument (Nereids) in Xanthos Ancient City.

This underwater park, which was opened to revive the lost heritage of the Lycian Civilization, located off the coast of Kaş, which is the richest district of Antalya in terms of diving points, will not only reduce the pressure of diving under water by creating an alternative to the existing diving routes in the district, but also add vitality to tourism as a different destination brought to the district.

Kaş Underwater Art and Culture Park, which was brought to life with the cooperation of Kaş District Governorship, Kaş Municipality, Western Mediterranean Development Agency and Chamber of Shipping, covers an area of approximately 10 acres underwater and is home to 658 lost works of Lycia. The works welcome visitors at depths ranging from 5 meters to 20 meters, so that those who come to visit with tour boats can watch them without diving.

The project gives important messages on behalf of sustainable tourism. The works are made of non-polluting, water-resistant material. While the intense pressure of anchoring in the exhibition area is prevented by this project, fixed kedges are placed in the area in order to protect the "Posidonia meadows".

Kaş Underwater Art and Culture Park tells the history and mythology of the region and revives the lost heritage of Lycia. Even if the lost values cannot be brought back, it is always possible to create new values.
