In Turkey's most prestigious yacht race, TAYK 53rd Anniversary Naval Forces Cup International Offshore Yacht Race, two young sailors achieved inspiring success with the support of Setur Marinas.

Ezgim Mıstıkoğlu and Derin Deniz Bınaroğlu are two young sailing lovers. Their inspiring journey started with a spectacular performance in the Ocean Globe Race. "It all started with a dream," they say. "The question of what to do next on the round the world was on both of our minds. We wanted to make a contribution to Turkish sailing..." In the meantime, two young athletes, whose paths crossed with Setur Marinas, triumphed in the "Double-Handed" category in the TAYK 53rd Naval Forces Cup International Offshore Yacht Race and made history once again. They successfully represented us in this prestigious race starting from Kalamış and ending in Göcek, organized by Setur Marinas with the motto "Sail to New Horizons!". We were once again proud of Ezgim and Derin, who also came third in the IRC-2 class this year

Such achievements tell us not only a sporting story, but also something about the courage and determination of young people. That determination to make the world a better place. As a matter of fact, a project related to sustainability was also realized on this journey. Ezgim and Derin gave an important message about sustainable clean seas by sorting their garbage in the most ideal way and contributing to recycling throughout their adventure. They also won the "sustainability" special award of the cup with the Setur Marinas Nox boat.
