Setur Marinas Kalamış & Fenerbahçe is of course not only Turkey's largest marina, but also a center of life with its events and activities, always offering unique experiences to sea lovers.

The Viking ship Saga Farmann, which arrived in Miklagard (i.e. Istanbul) over a thousand years ago, was exhibited at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum for three months and then set sail from Setur Marinas Kalamış & Fenerbahçe to complete its trade route cruises. An exact replica of the ship that traveled to Istanbul via the Danube River in 998, those who attended the Saga Farmann's anchoring event had the chance to feel the emotion of the Vikings, their lifestyle and the memories that come alive with wood. The ship has a long way to go. It will stay in Turkish territorial waters until Çeşme, then sail to the Mediterranean, spend the winter months in Rome and return home to Norway in 2026.

Another recent and enjoyable event at the Kalamış & Fenerbahçe marina was the Big Boyz Festival, Turkey's first hobby and activity festival, which was reorganized every year with the motto "Toys for Big Kids". In addition to the passion for the sea, Big Boyz appealed to all socio-cultural areas and drew attention to the different hobbies of the marina residents. The sound of the festival was heard all over Kalamış as everyone had fun with various DJ performances.

Another important event was the Cabotage Day, which we celebrated for the 98th time. The right of cabotage, which guarantees our sovereignty in our own territorial waters and ensures the development of seafaring and maritime culture, is a value that every seafarer holds sacred. This year, in order to crown this value, the Setur Marinas Kalamış & Fenerbahçe team and sea enthusiasts joined the sails to Dolmabahçe Palace. The July 1 Cabotage Feast was experienced with all sea lovers in the Bosphorus.

On June 4th, the marina hosted another very special event. The events organized by the Ahenk Lions Club of Kadıköy with the motto "Our Route is Life Without Disabilities" were organized for the sixth time this year. On Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Setur Marinas Kalamış Fenerbahçe, 40 disabled individuals were given basic sailing training by instructor captains. The lessons were followed by a pleasant two-hour sailing trip.

Setur Marinas, which considers maritime as an area at the center of life far beyond basic services, will continue to show its flag in every field and add value with its marina culture in its journey with the understanding of living and sustained marinas, which set the goal of taking an active role in every field in all its marinas.
